TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cancellation policy
- Services are cancelled by the clients
- In case the clients for any reasons cancel the trip, the following fees should be paid:
- More than 45 days prior to check-in No cancellation charge
- From 45 to 10 days prior to check-in 50% of total price
- 10 days prior to check-in or No-show 100% of total price
- Services are cancelled by Orchid Cruises
- According to the Ha Long Bay Management Board final decision, the cruise trip could be postponed, shortened or cancelled due to unexpected bad weather, including storm/ typhoon (summer), cyclone, thunder storm, foggy days (winter), monsoon (winter)… In this case, clients will be refunded the total sum of booked services. Should there are any rising services during that time, clients will pay basing on the actual amount.
Children policy
- One child under 5 years stays free of charge using existing beds.
- One child from 5 to 12 years is charged 75 % of the adult cost when using existing beds.
- One older child or adult is charged 40 % of the room stay per night in an extra bed.
Peak Season Surcharge
Surcharge VND1,000,000 per person on:

DAY 1: HANOI – HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY
08:30 Luxury van picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta on the way to Ha Long Bay.
11:30 Arriving Tuan Chau Marina, have check-in procedures at waiting lounge.
12:15 Transfer to Orchid Cruises by a tender boat. Welcome aboard, we’ll have some welcome drinks and gather at the restaurant for a cruise briefing and some safety instructions.
13:00 Passengers will be taking lunch while we cruise and visit Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
15:00 We will head to to Dark Cave and Bright Cave, the ideal place for you to feel close up from inside Ha Long Bay by bamboo boat or kayak.
17:00 Orchid Cruises enter an open, sparsely populated area at Tra Bau – Lan Ha Bay. Please enjoy a nice swim in the green emerald water here.
18:00 Being back onboard you may join a cooking demonstration, enjoy the Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while watching the view of the bay at sunset

06:30 It is a perfect time to refresh and indulge yourself in the peaceful beauty of the bay with a tai chi session on the sundeck. If you want to hunt for dawn, get up from 5:30 to 6:00 depending on the season, and consult our sailors.
07:00 We will have breakfast at the restaurant while continuing the cruise.
07:45 Kayaking activities in the Ao Ech area are held to discover the hidden charm of Ha Long – Lan Ha Bay.
08:30 Orchid Cruises welcomes you back on board and it is time for checking out.
10:00 Enjoy a delightful brunch at our restaurant while cruising back.
